SNUG at Home
SNUG at Home was a pilot program that ran during 2023-2024. This initiative was designed to extend the positive outcomes experienced by families during SNUG retreats.
Fun, multi-sensory, and accessible activities were posted to families at home, with the aim to build confidence and skills in parents/carers to initiate and facilitate whole-family activities themselves. In turn, this aimed to improve family wellbeing and connection.
Additionally, families had access to a safe, closed, and moderated online platform to continue to connect with other families post attending a SNUG retreat. Discussion topics were designed to assist families to identify and share their knowledge and skills.
The SNUG at Home program was made possible through a Perpetual Impact Grant gifted by the Woodend Foundation.
“I’m grateful to have been part of this pilot and hope it rolls out to more families in the future.”
